Vault Zero ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and disclosed when you use the Vault Zero application.
Vault Zero is designed to be a local-first, highly secure file vault. Your files, data, and encryption keys are generated and stored exclusively locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal files or master passwords on any external servers.
We use industry-standard encryption algorithms to protect the data stored within the app. All encryption and decryption processes occur locally on your device. However, you are responsible for keeping your device secure and your master password confidential. If you lose your master password, your data cannot be recovered by us.
The application may utilize basic operating system or third-party APIs for essential functionalities (such as local file picking). These services operate locally and do not have access to your decrypted vault data.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
If you have any questions or suggestions about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us through our official channels.
